Adapted lens. Sigma 150 macro.

My new to me used Metabones BM1 adapter allows me to mount a Canon EOS lens to a Micro 4/3 Olympus OM D1. First up on the evaluation list is a Sigma 150 f2.8 macro (pictured below). This could be sweet for butterfly photography. It will have more subject distance and softer backgrounds. The kit combination is equal to 300mm on M4/3. Off to the Niagara butterfly conservatory tomorrow.

The combo works.... sweet

Canon P-100 printer

I have successfully produced a print from this new (to me) printer. I used the Canon premium platinum paper. The print has a fantastic and gloss finish. Its just what I wanted from this dye ink printer. I used the Canon custom icc profile for the paper. It's not obvious where to turn off the printer drivers colour management when using an icc profile. Eventually I found the setting buried three levrls deep. This was the only issue with the printer.
